Favourite Fall Moment: Marni 2016

Marni's Fall collection was about beautiful billowing sleeves, shoulder molding cutaway capes and tailored trousers.

  The collection was romantic with a mix  of modern cuts and prints. 

Consuelo Castiglioni makes you want to
put on statement earrings and dark lipstick.

      fashion moment at Milan Fashion week."    

Hats Are Couture.

ASOS HATS

Zuhair Murad's Bohemian Collection was an ode to the free spirited Seventies.
I specifically loved the way the Couture  pieces were styled. The co-ordinating  coloured felt hats and waist clutching belts. 
It's easy to change the look of  any outfit with accessories.

Dior Couture Fall 2017

Christian Dior Haute Couture fall collection  was all about the absence of colour.

The black and white garments had an

air of sophistication with sharp 

v necklines, embellished jackets 

and cascading ruffles on the dresses and tops.

The Dior design team have created unique pieces that are  so beautiful. 
So Chic!

Resort 2017

Rosie Assoulin

Rosie Assoulin's showcased her incredible resort collection.

Capes, fruit embellishment, seersucker fabric in blue shades

were in the main trends seen at her summer extravaganza.  

Christopher Kane

Christopher Kane's took inspiration from the modest garden pansy.

  "The pansy seems so simple, so everyday; it just came into 

  my head to use it as the basis for a collection,"  

He described the purity of shape and freshness of the flower 

that is illustrated in his resort collection.

Dion Lee's collection was all about reflective light and transparency. Creating glass like textures using sheer fabrics and"Crystal Crochet" made from clear glass beads that accented the trims of  dresses and tops.

Saint Laurent Fall 2016-17

Amid the rumours of Hedi Slimane leaving Saint Laurent, he debuted the  second part of his stunning fall collection  in Paris. 

Hedi described the collection as "80's Camp Couture"

I loved all the black sleek looks especially the black tailored trouser and  leather top with a waist cinching belt and gold jewellery.

If this was Hedi Slimane's goodbye collection.. then what a way to say bye!
